[9:15] Got up at around 7:30, emptied night bucket, made bed, opened curtains, picked up some stuff on the floor. Made first cup of coffee, fed guineas, put on a load of laundry (delicates), had breakfast. Brought in four loads of laundry, sorted and put away three of them, hung out first load, did dirty laundry round-up (except E's room), changed towels and bathmat, put in second load of laundry (clothes). Made second cup of coffee, had a PM conversation with Danie Archer-Forinash advising on a medievalish costume for Lily for Scouts.
[9:30] Started updating weekly dashboard, added some cards to the online portfolio for Dan's upcoming singing dates, rebooted this blog for motivation.
[10:30] Hung out second load of laundry, changed shower curtain, put in third load of laundry (towels/shower curtain), made and ate second breakfast with a cup of nettle tea, finished updating weekly dashboard, tossed out some vegie scraps for the geese/guineas, watered veges with weed tea (the last application a week ago has really perked up the mustard greens, collards and lettuce, although hasn't had a huge effect on the sad spinach or silverbeet), put away some plastics and sorted out some clean jars for Billy Hill, prodded Bat to get out of bed and paused laundry load #3 so he could shower, emptied his dirty laundry into the basket in the hall.
[11:30] Restarted load #3, sorted contents of toilet bin between recyclable soft plastics and compostables for raised bed #5, read the Guardian, took a big stack of boxes out of the mudroom and stored them in the shed for future sheet mulching, brought in a barrow of wood, found a fix for the problem of the northern edge of the netting in raised bed #1 being blown towards the centre of the bed (added more hooks to secure the weight against the side of the bed), planned my food for the day.
[2:50] I forget what else I did, but I just finished putting in the third guild pod and planting the apple tree.
