Monday 27 January

Wednesday to Friday are forecast to be unpleasantly hot, so I need to focus on getting work done in the garden the next two days so I can do some inside work later in the week.

Done:

• got into farm clothes 
• coffee
• updated Trello   
• filled all the water bottles in the kitchen
• watered succulents in the kitchen
• started to reorganise my "study" in the learning room to have the portfolio-stuffing station on the bookshelf - found the in-trays, now need to make space for them+folders on the shelves
• harvested carrots and silverbeet for scrambled tofu 
• cooked scrambled tofu
• finished slashing in plum orchard (done, but one section needs a repeat)
• did a substantial amount of sheet mulching in top orchard
• showered and dressed
• harvested lettuce and a couple of snowpeas for burger 
• made the last tandoori lentil hashbrown burger  
• fell in a heap
• 9:30pm electronic curfew and bedtime   

To Do - Inside:

• water rest of the indoor plants
• put away Solstice stick
• reset altar for Lughnasadh/Lammas, make a herb wreath
• 15 minutes tidying up in my bedroom
• empty compost
• emptied night buckets
• empty cat litter tray
• cook lentil spaghetti sauce for Dan
• cook rice; make spinach rice pie
• make hummus
• clean out my fridge, freeze black bananas
• make rhubarb applesauce, and make some into chia puddings

To Do - Outside (Monday-Tuesday):

• harvest silverbeet
• harvest rhubarb
• fix hoop houses, plant seedlings
• throw ash around the young plum trees (use a ladder)
• deadhead roses 
• by Dan's cottage
• in front garden
• do a substantial amount of sheet mulching in top orchard 
• block geese's access to the tomatoes in the courtyard with wire/netting
• give geese more bedding  
• collect more cardboard/paper (Tuesday)

To Do - Inside (Wednesday-Friday):

• water courtyards twice a day; water raised beds and guild pods once a day 
• compost smoothies 
• water rest of the indoor plants; repot umbrella tree or ficus into the new brass pot and rearrange that corner; add a hook for the new plant hanger
• supermarket shopping, tip shop etc
• finish reorganising my "study" in the learning room to have the portfolio-stuffing station on the bookshelf (in progress) 
• dirty laundry round-up 
• put in load of laundry #1 
• put in load of laundry #2 
• put in load of laundry #3 
• hung out load of laundry #1 
• hung out load of laundry #2

• update 2020 online portfolio with recent things; make online portfolio entries for Summer Camp
• start Hugh's 2020 portfolio, create/print layout for Summer Camp, file printed stuff

• start 2019 reports, 2020 HESPs
• check which months are missing for 2019; compile/print any missing monthly notes for 2019
