Saturday 2 November

Done:
  • breakfast (well, okay, leftover cheezecake), coffee
  • put on a load of laundry (clothes)
  • gave Eric a F&V shopping list; unpacked F&V shopping
  • did portfolio layouts recording Dan's recent obsession with music theory channels
  • researched for some interesting books on geography topics to get Hugh for Christmas. Ideas:
  • did dirty laundry round-up
  • put in laundry #2 (clothes)
  • put away last of the plastics which the kids boycott; induced E to do the washing up
  • went through fridge and removed old food
  • made lunch (last of the leftover curries from Monday, served on quinoa)
  • updated Weekly Dashboard (in progress); finished Brick House entry and monthly notes for October
  • changed towels (not bathmat)
  • showered, dressed to shoes, cleaned teeth, moisturised face
  • hung out three loads of laundry; put in a load of laundry (towels)
  • started new weekly Brick House entry; started November Monthly Notes file; started daily Tummy Beast entry
  • went through the first few sections of the Game of Life maths workbook with Dan; then discussed scheduling regular sit-down lessons with Eric during the week that work with their other commitments (1pm for half an hour on days when everyone is home, starting Monday)
  • transplanted five calendula seedlings to the inside fenceline of the potato patch
  • tied up the loose netting on the netting house
  • ate a food
  • finished updating Weekly Dashboard; finished editing, printing and filing October monthly notes 
  • went wizarding with Dan
  • 10 minutes handwriting practice with Hugh
  • put chickpea Massaman curry in the slowcooker, tidied up after myself
  • made a cup of tea and a hashbrown toastie
  • watered the plants, opened #5 and emptied compost bucket into it, cleared kitchen table, put remaining squishy bananas into the freezer, discussed dinner ideas with E
  • sewed second line of black ribbon onto Eric's blue tunic
  • had dinner
  • took Massaman curry out of crockpot and put it in the fridge so it didn't turn into sludge overnight
