So What Do You Do All Day? Sunday 7 July

[7:10] Made my bed, dressed in farm clothes, emptied my night bucket, rebooted the load of whites.

[7:30] Restarted the fire, finished adding ingredients and put both slow cookers in to cook, made coffee, pulled a muscle in my upper back. Sigh.

[7:45] Taken B12 and ibuprofen, drunk first cup of coffee, pootled on puter.

[8:00] Worked on updating Weekly Dashboard.

[8:15] Made cup of coffee, taken whites out of machine and put on a load of towels, reheated breakfast, started looking at my notes on Hugh's project.

[9:00] Finished editing Hugh's documentation, wrote my afterword, collected all the successful(ish) experiments to bring to Kraken Hall. Project Tribal Nomads complete!

[9:25] Taken towels out of machine, warmed up in front of fire, finished updating Weekly Dashboard. Am scared to hang laundry out yet because it's still icy out there. The sun is only just peeping around the corner of the hill.

[10:00] Changed cat litter, changed towels, did the dirty laundry round-up, put in a load of bed linen, made a hot cup of tea to defrost my fingers, hung out two loads of laundry. Checked on the guinea fowl and released the geese. Laid out my clothes in the bathroom and found all the stuff for my hair. I need to leave in two hours so need to get onto the photos soon!

[5:25] The rest of the day was a bit of a blur, but I got multiple copies of doco printed despite the fact that the printer drivers were UNFORGIVABLY STUPID, and made it to the hall only 20 minutes late. Whereupon I got booted out to mind my own business for two hours while the judging happened. Having no money, I played an awful lot of Wizards Unite and Pokemon Go, naturally. I got home some time before 5 and have basically blobbed, although I did rescue the soup (which Hugh had forgotten about and is probably dead, sigh), make myself a hashbrown toastie, and receive some bags and boxes of stuff from Ange whose family is donating all their old gear to the Canton.

[5:40] Brought in the load of towels and linen from the line, and hung it up by the fire, since it felt like it was damper than it was when I hung it out... Also folded the last load of towels, which have been very slowly drying inside for the last two or three days.

[7:10] Ate dinner, snuggled with a sad Dan, and generally gave myself some time off for good behaviour.
