Monday 15 July

[9:45] Slept in til 8:30. Updated Weekly Dashboard. Made and consumed breakfast and two cups of coffee. Wrangled Hugh into bringing out load of boxes and bringing in load of wood; asked Dan to light the fire. Wrangled Hugh into putting away the drying up; asked Dan to put away their half. Made a plan with Dan about what time to leave for x-ray + appointment (12:30]; planned my food for the day.

[10:05] Pep-talked Dan into eating a decent breakfast, started menu planning, wrote this week's plan on board.

[10:40] Prodded Hugh into giving me a chicken recipe, had a 20 minute conversation with Beth about how to prevent her relationship with Harry falling into the same pitfalls as mine with Oze (ha - it took her TWO WEEKS to work out it was unhealthy and she needs to set stronger boundaries - my girl rocks), made another cup of coffee, worked on menu plan.

[11:10] Finished updating this week's and next week's menu plans. Worked on August Monthly Menu Plan Overview.

[11:35] Organised all my loose recipes into the appropriate omni/vego/vegan folders. Failed to find the cornbread recipe I used last time I made Tamale Pie. Dangnabbit. Need to do something else now, that's my menu-planning time up for the morning.

[Afternoon] Took Dan up to town: went via the Dog House to tell Eric I needed money for fuel; put fuel in my car; stopped at the tip shop to pick up the big earthenware crock I'd just thought of a use for; stopped in Huonville for Dan to be sick and then to clean up after Dan being sick; dropped Dan in town before their appointment and went back to Kingston; got my x-ray; went to Vinnies; went back to Headspace and talked to the youth worker; took Dan home again.

[Evening] Made a flaxseed bar with the chocolate amazeball flavourings. I think I prefer it that way. Modified earthenware crock slightly (with a hammer) and started thinking of ways to use it for displaying a plant. Cooked dinner. Worked on shopping list. Tidied my workspace. Swept kitchen floor. Updated Weekly Dashboard.
